• I seem to be running into a brick wall here and hope someone can help.

Let me explain what I’m doing first. And that is that I’m using a content widget to display the text content of a post. I have three of them, and each displays a short note, like a reminder. To make editing of these reminders easier, I tried to put all of them into one post, and even into one page. But, what happens is that on the front page, where the reminders are shown, all the formatting is striped out and it becomes one long string. If you preview the post or page like if were a normal post or page, the formatting is correct.

So, the question is, what’s different about displaying the content in this widget as opposed to displaying the content in a regular post or page?

    Thanks

  • I do not use that plugin, but I suspect that it displays an excerpt, not full content. By default, WP strips all HTML out of excerpts.
