• Had some type of code problem trying to resolve WP Forum Server and setting it up. Eventually, I was told to follow instructions at https://forumpress.org/installation-setup which didn’t work. So then I was told it was a code problem an to rename the theme name in public_html/wp_content/themes/twenty-eleven which I did. Then I went to the WP Dashboard and reused the Twenty Eleven Theme. My problem now is that my sidebar shows up at the bottom of the page in the right sidebar rather than starting at the top right side in the side bar. My site is https://roundhousetalk.com. Can someone please help me. I have been trying to resolve this for the last 3 hours with no luck yet Thanks.

  • Somewhat of a weird setup for your pages.

You’re using the primary id immediately after the main id.

Your #primary has a width of 100%, so its going to fill the area.
change the width to like 600px and your sidebar should move up.
Then you can adjust the pixels to get the desired width.

Which file do I change? I’m looking at it but don’t feel comfortable doing it right. Is is the page.php?

Create a Child Theme and work off the Child Theme’s style.css file, to implement Tom Combs’ suggestion or any theme modification.

I’m lost. Do I edit the style.css in the child theme folder and under what Section (content, structure?). And when I do, how does it replace the existing style.css? I don’t have a twenty-eleven folder in my public_html/wp-content/theme directory now since I copied it over to my hard drive and then deleted it from the theme directory. I’m really lost.
