Search Custom Post Type Archive

    Hi all,

    I have a custom post type ‘recipes‘ and an archive-recipes.php page which is displaying these recipes in a paged list.

    I have a search bar on this page that I would like to show the results of on this archive page.

    The search form has a post_type var set to recipes and the form action is set to /recipes/.

    Is what I am trying to do possible or does the searching on wordpress have to display as a list on /website.com/search/keyword ?
