    This plugin will not work without the Groups component in BuddyPress.

    The bbPress plugin already has basic email subscriptions built-in. For more advanced bbPress email management, check out this plugin:

    (Note: I haven’t tested it, but should address your needs)

    I would also like to see similar email notification functionality for site-wide activity streams.

    I’ll try to look through the code and see if it can be easily modified, but if anyone else has already started on this, I would love to get your feedback.
