switch the number of posts per page by visitors

  • Hi, good morning.
    when I choose one post per page a Next will show at the bottom of the post so one can click on it to see the post immediately before it. Now I would like to have an addition button which says List (for exsample) that will bring up 10 (or a different number) of most recent posts. This way visitors have a choice not to have too many clicks to go through recent posts.
    I am sorry if this How-to has been asked and answered on other occassions. Please advise anyway. Thank you!

  • If you don’t want them to have to click… set the number of displayed posts to a higher number.

    That kind of answer just confuses a beginner… ??
    Better leave them with a “no”.

    How about “No, unless you know WordPress and PHP extremely well” ?
