Woocommerce multisite problems

I am currently working on a webpage that has multiple sites within the umbrella site. While on the home page the search function (for products) and the select category functions only work for the parent site and none of the subsequent sites.

Example: I search for music, it returns the products that are related to music but only if they are listed by the main web site. Other sub sites contain products that are in that category and contain the word music in their title, but it does not return them.

My question: Is there a setting in woocommerce to enable multi-site searching, category, and product retrieval?

If anybody has an idea that would be fantastic!
