Thanks for the link. Could you try to temporarily switch to a different theme like Twenty Eleven, and let me know if the problem remains?

The same doubling happened with my Mingle Forum; when I deleted Jetpack, the problem was resolved.

BTW as well as making the forum appear twice, it disabled the forum posting editor.

Yeah I have also temporarily deactivated Jetpack, but my goal is to find a solution and have both running together. Ill post the solution once i have one.

Same here. Switched theme and no difference.

Could you try to disable the Sharing module, and let me know if that helps?

That works: reinstalled Jetpack 2.0 and disallowed sharing on any page/post; the forum shows once and works fine.

Didn’t work for me ?? I first tried to deactivate the sharing plugin. Then I uninstalled Jetpack and reinstalled it and then deactivated the sharing plugin and still no luck ??

In my case, instead of seeing double, my forum went blank in the content area of the forum page (Simple:Press Forum 4.x.x / WP 3.4.2 / Jetpack 2.0+ / custom theme).

I say ‘blank’ instead of completely disappeared, because I could still see that the forum styling was being applied to buttons in my sidebar and the forum permalinks were still working (going to an actual topic’s permalink, using my browser history, didn’t give a 404 error and it still showed the topic title in the browser title).

After turning Jetpack modules off one by one, I found disabling both the ‘Sharing’ and ‘Publicize’ modules made everything work normally again for me.
