Show Nested Categories

I need to have two pages, each using the same FAQ plugin, but separated by 2 parent FAQ categories. For example, 2 parent categories would be:
1) Boys
2) Girls

Then from there nested categories, Boys -> Cars.. Girls -> Barbie

An FAQ about matchbox cars would be under Boys and Cars

On the visitor page I would like to see the category names.
Right now I use:
[qa limit=5 excerpts=true?permalinks=true cat=Boys]
I would like each sub category “Cars” “bikes” “mud” to show with its faq.
Right now I only see “Boys” and a list of all FAQs under Boys, but not sub categories.

Can this be done?
