issue with avatar

Hello,
Can anybody please help me to understand the following issue?
My avatars get a strange URL and therefore the avatars are not displayed correctly
incorrect:

https://1.gravatar.com/avatar/9fca9ffc4323697acbe32a7ce0309c71?s=50&d=%3Cmonsterid%3E&r=Gyou can see that a text path_ti_url is pasted into URL I dont know where and how it is generated and how to force BLOG function to use the correct setting which is in this case monsterid.
can please anybody help?
