I don’t think this could be more confusing to install unless it was written in a different language. Seriously, you almost need to be a computer programmer to figure this out. Come on, can you make it more user friendly for just a blogger that doesn’t have a degree in computer science?

So far the sub directory /wp-content/plugins/ doesn’t seem to work.

    Hi brianz76,

I totally understand where you’re coming from as a blogger. When writing is the priority, it’s important that the system I’m using be as plug-and-play as reasonably possible.

Your current problem loading Easy Instagram may not be something I can address though without knowing more about its nature. Can you explain more about your trouble with your plugins directory?

    Regards,

Where does the sub directory go? do I add it to my blog address? brianzinno.wordpress.com/wp-content/plugins/ I did try that and it didn’t work.

the step by steps for the installation are for someone that has coding or developer experience. the screen shots should be shots of the step by step process.

    Help!

    Hi Brian,

I suggest you install through wordpress. Login to wordpress.
    Click Plugin > Add New
Then search for Easy Instagram and install from there.

    Hi Suzy and Brian,

We agree that Suzy’s suggestion is the easiest and the recommended procedure to load most WordPress plugins. For this plugin in particular as with most or all WordPress plugins that are free through www.ads-software.com, one should not have to access the directory to load, setup or administrate them.

We’re sorry, Brian, you’d gotten detoured to the file directory and for our delayed response. I think our load options can be confusing when the easiest “…Or, search for and download “Easy Instagram” from the WordPress repository found when pressing ‘Add New’ on the Plugins panel in WordPress.” loading option was listed last in a long paragraph.

For future users, that paragraph will be reformatted with the easiest option clear and first.

    Best regards,

Haven’t heard back about any continued trouble, so closing the ticket. Hope the tip from Suzy worked out for you.

I just gave up trying. Way too confusing for what should be a simple thing. It’s not user friendly at all for a majority of users that are trying to write posts for their blog, not computer geniuses.
