Custome Permalinks in menu and widgets

  • Hi, Im using cp since some years, but only for pages and articles. Now im trying to get the categories work with it, but custome permalinks wont be shown in individual menu and categories widget and categories_list in posts. there is allways the normal slug linked and after click i will be redirected to the custome link. how can i change it to show only the custome link?

  • I experience exactly the same problem as RS-Systems.

    If I enter the wordpress backend and click on view post, it will show me the post with my custom url.

    If I open my website and hover the particular posts link in my navigation, it will show the old link.

    I am using yoast SEO. Maybe this might cause the interference.

    well, for Posts and Pages its working fine, only categories have a problem with showing the custom permalink in widgets.

    ok, problem solved. The function “Remove the URL bases of categories” in Seo ultimate plugin broke the showing of permalinks for categories. after i deactivated it, the URL in widgets are fine now.
