Featured Images Are not uniform in size on homepage

I’m having trouble figuring out why all of my features images in my posts on my home page are not the same size. The home page is set to show only a summary and not the entire post. Some images stretch across the whole column and others are just small and look strange.

You can see what I’m talking about here. My post dated 11/15 is big and the other images on the home page are small. What is happening?
