    Hi all,

I just installed backupwordpress and try to execute manually. The process returns: Your BackUp Failed (with stacktrace) (below)

I have tried all suggestions from the faq (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/backupwordpress/faq/), but unfortunately the problem remains.

    Stacktrace:

    Fatal error: Uncaught exception \'RuntimeException\' with message \'SplFileInfo::isReadable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/..) is not within the allowed path(s): (/php_sessions:/tmp:/var/www/errors:)\' in /wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/hm-backup/hm-backup.php:825 Stack trace: #0 /wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/hm-backup/hm-backup.php(825): SplFileInfo->isReadable() #1 /wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/hm-backup/hm-backup.php(752): HM_Backup->zip_archive() #2 /wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/hm-backup/hm-backup.php(618): HM_Backup->archive() #3 /home/vol4/byethost in /wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/hm-backup/hm-backup.php on line 825 <iframe src=\'https://ifastnet.com/pop.html\' name=\'frame1\' scrolling=\'no\' frameborder=\'no\' align=\'center\' MARGINWIDTH=\'0\' MARGINHEIGHT=\'0\' height = \'10px\' width = \'10px\'> </iframe>

    Any tips would be welcome!?

    Thanks and cheers,
    Igor

    Hi Igor,

Could I ask, are you using version 2.1.1? I though I had fixed this issue in that version.

    Hi Tom,

I’m using Version 2.1.1 (downloaded today). Unfortunately, the message does not mean much to me. Is there maybe a kind of ‘patch’ available until a fix in some upcoming version?

Thanks for your quick reaction, much appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Hi Nashua,

I’d love to get to the bottom of the issue your seeing as your not the only one seeing it and I’m unable to reproduce on any of my test systems.

Could you email me at [email protected] and I’ll debug the issue with you further.

    We’re handling this off-list.

Tom, if you need more guinea pigs who have this problem, I could volunteer as one.

same problem here. just downloaded the plugin.

same problem here to. version 2.1.3.
im thinking that is maybe an access problem to the files on the server.
i speak with the server company and i ask for permission to the files.

for right now im waiting for resolve from the both sides.

Same problem here with the latest version. Is there a fix?
