Problems Adding Multiple Categories In WordPress

HI Guys

I am trying to add over 200 categories to my wordpress blog but adding each one individually is really time consuming.

I believe that it is possible to add multiple categories using phpmyadmin by simply copying and pasting using a text file.

Unfortunately I know nothing about phpmyadmin. I have logged into it from my control panel but to be honest it looks really overbearing.

If anybody could give me step by step instructions on how to do this I would really appreciate it. Alternatively if anyone knows of any good tutorials online where I can learn about phpadmin that would be great.

Obviously if somebody has done this before and could explain it to me in a post I would be very grateful.
