Best method for Developing

    Hi – trying to figure out the best way to install WordPress for developing a theme before site launch.

    Is it possible to move WP from a sub directory to the root without creating database issues once the site is ready to launch?

    I have tried using MAMP and developing using a localhost setup but there are too many glitches I’m experiencing making it nearly impossible to use.
