Favicon

  • sir ..in my wordpress site . Favicon did not add?
    my code is:- <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”<?php bloginfo(‘template_directory’);?>/images/favicon.ico” /> in header file under head section.

  • Actually, i am using this code and it works !
    <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory') ?>/images/favicon.ico" />

    the code shows correctly in the header.

    however, FF16 for instance could not display the image because it ‘contains errors’.

    how did you create the favicon image?

    Actually, i can’t remember, sorry !
    But is the code works for you ?
