media upload error?

    I’m having trouble uploading media to my web pages. I had been using an older version (version 3-something) of WordPress and upgraded to see if it solved the problem. The old error and the new error messages are pasted below. It looks like the software is trying to upload the images to an OLD 2008 uploads directory, not a newer 2012 uploads directory.

    Background: I had moved this site from one host to another a few months back but it seems like I have the right connections with the new database. The domain is pointing to the correct site. Page updates work as expected.

    Unable to create directory /homepages/45/d94430377/htdocs/test3/wp-content/uploads/2008/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
