Hi seedlings, Sorry there is no option to order them they are in alphabetical order.

Por favor, incluir opción para ordenar categorías en la primera pagina y no solo por orden alfabético. Gracias!

Hi. Does anyone know how to move my categories from the bottom of my home page to the top? Thanks!

I tried to do parent categories and now all my categories are on the bottom of the home page again. How do Move the parent categories to the top?

Crap. Is there a way to keep my catagories distinct under the parent category? I just lost a TON of organization.

I found a way to order the categories in the home page. Maybe is not the best, but it works.

    1. Edit the names of the categories in the order you’d like by adding “a”, “b”, “c”, etc. before the category name.
    2. Go to Leaf Options and select the categories for your home page.
    3. Erase the letters you added in step 1.
    DONE!

Oops, sorry. It worked for a while, but then returned to the alphabetical order. I hope we can find a way!!!

YES! I found a way. It’s little bit silly. Just put numbers at the begining of the category name. “1. History”, “2. Art” etc…

    Solution:

    Install this plugin
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/order-categories/

    (Old but work fine)
Reorder categories in Post > Category Order
Go to Leaf Options and Save Options.

    It’s Done.

    Solución:
    Instala este plugin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/order-categories/

    (Es viejo pero funciona)
Reordena las categorías en Entradas > Category Order
Anda a las opciones del Tema Leaf y guarda las opciones.

    Listo

This is working perfectly for me with WP 3.5.1 Allows me to easily control order of categories on the home page without touching any of the code.
