side menu, how to remove

  • Hi to all!, I am for the frist time here. I thank wordpress for this fantastic service. I have installed the blog and it’s all ok.
    Now I have a problem. Because my blog it’s very simple, only one thread, I don’t need side menu. I’d like to know how to remove it.
    I am not a programmer and I know only the fundaments of php. HTML pretty better.

  • Open ‘footer.php’

    Delete this line <?php get_sidebar(); ?>

    That’ll do it ??

    oh thanks this is good:-)…one more thing…is it possible make appear comments and form directly in the main page (url doesn’t change i have seen but I think you have understood what I mean)
