This plugin has a fatal flaw, it breaks permalinks

  • This plugin does one thing well: it adds the ability to assign custom fields and images to your taxonomies. However it is not well written, and it will break your permalinks if you don’t comment out line #488.

    The plugin author seems not to realize that flushing rewrite rules is an expensive operation and this plugin does it on EVERY PAGE LOAD, breaking any custom taxonomy permalinks that might have been set up by you or by other plugins.

    The sad thing is this bug has been with this plugin since the previous version.
