Nextgen gallery need help to add arrows next previous

Hi,
I have added the nextgen gallery to our companies blog and followed this to add thumbnails, which is all working fine.

The gallery now looks like this with no arrows:

I want the gallery to have arrows like this:
https://www.babble.com/best-recipes/hanukkah-recipes-2/sweet-potato-latkes/

Any ideas on how to do this or point us in the right direction.
