[Plugin: FB Linkedin Resume] lookout timed out

This is a great plugin that makes it easy to use your Linkedin Resume info. However, I am running into a problem that periodically it is unable to access the Linkedin site:
FB Linkedin Resume: unable to connect to LinkedIn website
name lookup timed out

Would it be possible to add a feature – to be able to cache the Linkedin data locally and then maybe have an option in the admin panel to re-fetch the data if you have made changes to it, rather than having to fetch the data every time.
