Widgets and their Content Randomly Disappearing

Exactly what the title says. I will create and drop in a widget on a sidebar, then check back a few hours later to find that it vanished. Nothing in the Inactive Widgets section.

I have no idea how this happening. I already changed all the passwords on all the users thinking that someone hacked an account.

Lastly, I’m pretty sure that everything’s lost for good, but if anyone has a way to recover it that’d be great too.
