Sticky not sticking

    I just created my home page and have an introduction blog post that I set a sticky on but it still doesn’t remain on the home page. How can I get it to stick?

  • Maybe its theme related?
    Have you tested with a different theme to see if the sticky stay stuck on that?

    Thanks for the quick reply. I did try other themes and I get the same results. The post is definately labeled as a sticky post, but it no worky. ??

    is that the ‘posts page’ or a static home page?

    it would need to be the ‘posts page’ for the sticky post to stick.

    have you tried to switch to the default theme Twenty Eleven?

    have you tried to deactivate all plugins to see if that helps?

    I’m not sure I understand the difference between a Posts page and a static page. I have both.
    I’ll play around with it. I’ve tried all the other themes that are available to me and I get the same results on all of them.
