• Ever since the upgrade to 3.5 I’ve been unable to upload images on my site. I’ve reinstalled and closed all plugins but it hasn’t helped. When I upload an image it goes correctly into my content library, but when I try to “insert to post” it never appears.

  • Same problem here. I run “Amazon S3 for WordPress with CloudFront” plugin and I can’t upload photos to posts.

Can you provide a link to your site and what theme your using.

Appstorechronicle.com and I’m running regular old “Twenty Eleven” with a few modifications through the extension plugin, and a few minor modifications in the code (i.e Separator line between content and sidebar).

I am having this issue as well. I looked at other threads, and saw that people had luck disabling plugins or changing themes, but neither of those options worked when I tried.

For reference, my blog is at https://charity.stephonee.com
And the themes I tried were:

    https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentytwelve/
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/next-saturday

From your http headers I see you or your host are using mod page_speed. There are know issues.

    mod_pagespeed

On some hosting environments, aggressive settings for the “mod_pagespeed” addon can break the javascript code and cause scripts to not be able to function. This can cause many problems, such as widgets not working, menus not being draggable, the customizer not working, or the media screens not being available.

To fix the issue, you will need to disable mod_pagespeed, or adjust its settings to not take effect in the wp-admin directories. You may need to ask your hosting service for help on how to do this.

I’m having the same issue… after upgrading, I was able to add media through my most recent post but all subsequent tries to insert the media have been unsuccessful.

    My website is https://safariroo.com

    Thanks for your help!

@chris Olbekson – perfect! Disabling that fixed it for me ?? Thank you for your help!

I’ve just contacted my hosting service, one.com and they responded ” I am sorry, but we do not offer to make any changes to the php configuration on our servers”.

Could you please advise me how else I could get around this problem?
