Can't update options – 404 on aioseop.class.php

  • Basically I am having the same problem as several other previous posters all of which have queries which never seemed to get resolved.

    I am copying and pasting one of the original posts because it describes my issue exactly but was never reolved.

    I have tried re installing the plugin, checking file positions all to no avail. Any help would be appreciated

    I’m working on a site for a client who needs their homepage title etc updating asap. When i login and go to their seo options page, make the change and click “update” I get a 404 page which says:

    “Nothing found for Wp-admin Options-general Php?page=all-in-one-seo-pack Aioseop Class Php”

    I’ve checked and aioseop.class.php does exist.

    interestingly it works ok on a loacl copy of the site and database so sounds like something server side? Is it to do with permissions on this file??
