I need it for a static site. How do I find a theme for that?

You can use any theme you like. They don’t all have to look like a blog. You need to set the front page of your site to a static page, which just means creating a new blank page then go to Settings->Reading from the WordPress dashboard menu. Then select the Static Page radio and choose which page to use for your front page from the select dropdown and save changes.

The home page of your site will then be the page you selected. Add some images and content and your good. Obviously if you require sliders and all that fancy stuff then you will need a theme that has custom page templates that you could use.

Either that or make your own, using your current theme and make a child theme for it.
