Can't change size of thumbnails for Activity Plus plugin

I have tried to reset the thumbnails as instructed below:
define(‘BPFB_THUMBNAIL_IMAGE_SIZE’, ’16×16′);
However, I can’t see any difference. The site I’m working on right now is this. Any suggestions?
