IE problem loadding images

Hello,
I am having trouble with the thumbnails when loading the images on IE. I am working on WP 3.5, Responsive theme. Since on these theme the thumbnails were out of proportion I had to add these lines
type="text/javascript">jQuery(document).ready(function(){jQuery('.ad-thumb-list img').css('height','70px')});</script>to keep the height that I want on the thumbsnails.you can take a look at the gallery at https://oakleighinteriors.com/portfolio/residential
