Two bios created at the end of a post

    After a post, my website has a short bio about the author that I fill out under the user’s biographical information. I want to add Social Author Bio so we can add more information but when I add it, the same information comes up twice after a post (the information I already had and then the same information in the Social Author plugin). When I delete the information in the biographical section under the user, it deletes both of the bios after the post.

    Is there a way to add the bio information just in the Social Author plugin? In other forums I saw that if you have twenty eleven theme it might cause a problem but I do not have that on my site:

    Right now I turned off the Social Author plugin so I do not have two bios at the end of the post. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great.

    Most people use this plugin as a replacement of any other bio boxes. But I understand while you would want to do it the way you have described.

    The reason you are seeing the duplication is because both your theme (or other plugin) and this plugin are pulling the information from the same field in the user profile, the one labeled Biographical Info.

    I plan on uploading a new version of Social Author Bio soon, I’ll try to include an option in the settings page to put in a separate field for bio info.

    Any update on this function? I like your bio box, but can’t have two bio boxes on each post.

    Luminaric,

    You need to to remove the previous one from your theme and/or other plugins that are adding the 2nd bio.
