Backup Timeout

    Whenever I try to do a backup I get the following message:
    “The backup timed out too many times and no progress was made on any attempt. Your server may be running extremely slow at this time – try scheduling the backup during a quieter period.”
    I have tried at all different times over the last few months with the same result.
    It’s the same for online, download and email options.
    The following info is also displayed.

    Online Backup for WordPress Plugin Version 2.2.13
    PHP Version: 5.3.13
    MySQL Server Version: 5.1.56-log
    MySQL Client Version: 1.0
    Mem: 256M; Post: 20M; Upload: 20M; Timeout: 120
