installed wp super cache need help

  • HI There
    i just installed the plugin and i see this in my wordpress footer:

    <!– Dynamic page generated in 0.610 seconds. –>
    <!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2012-12-21 15:31:47 –>

    is this mean that its working ?

    1- i dunno if php mode is diabled how can i make sure?

    2- in step 7 i don’t see the code in htaccess and i dunno if i’m using mod_rewrite … how can i be sure?

    3- in step 8 i was trying to add the code to htaccess and i got this error:
    Could not open /home/myhotels/public_html/wp-content/cache/.htaccess for writing: Permission denied
    what should i do?

    in 9 how can i allow apache to accept models ?
    <Directory /home/www/> AllowOverride All </Directory>
