link button not working

    I just upgraded to WordPress 3.5. When I tried to compose a new post, the “add link” button was unresponsive when clicked. That is, I click it but the link box doesn’t appear. I tried it on both Firefox and Chrome, but the link button didn’t work on either browser. I click it and nothing happens.

    Can someone help me get the link button working again?

  • Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the 2010 theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    I deactivated all plugins and it worked! Thanks. I have reactivated most of them and it still works, so even though I’m not sure which plugin was responsible, I was able to get the links button working again.
