Simplify Uploading

  • When I upload via the WordPress interface it sends the file to /blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/02/

    Is there anyway to make it upload to a different directory? I’m going to have users who are newbies uploading these files and linking to them. I just don’t think they have what it takes to link to a file with a URL that is that complicated.

  • 2.01 addresses the many problems with the 2.0 inline uploading feature.

    Does anyone have a solution to this?
    I’ve installed the plugin for the Filosoft plugin but that only affects the Upload option, not the inline-uploader.

    Turn off “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” in Options:Misc.?
