    Hi dharma3d,

Thanks for using NextGEN Gallery ColorBoxer!

ColorBoxer automatically sets and locks-in the necessary options at Gallery –> Options –> Effects upon activation, so as long as the plugin is currently activated, you should be fine.

For your reference, the following options are set…
    JavaScript Thumbnail effect: “Custom”
    Link Code line: class=”mycolorbox” rel=”%GALLERY_NAME%”

It sounds more like you’re experiencing a conflict with another plugin, or scripts in your theme. To confirm this, you could try momentarily switching your theme to the built-in Twenty Twelve, and deactivate all plugins aside from NextGEN Gallery and ColorBoxer.

Additionally, if you’d like to post your URL, I’d be happy to take a look for you (you can email me if you’d prefer it remain private).

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Mark.

I have another site (www.terantoons.com) that I am using NextGen Gallery with no problem. Today I installed it on my other site (https://teamxfix.com/last-birthday-celebration-hospital/) and I can’t get it to work. I’ve had success a few times. Then when I go back to that page the NextGen gallery is gone. As you can see the images are still there and it only takes you to the image page not the gallery I”m completely stumped. Your help would be greatly appreciate it.

    Hi gpteran,

Thanks for using NextGEN Gallery ColorBoxer!

I’ve just had a look at your site, and everything looks good on my end, including your gallery thumbnails and the ColorBox lightbox (even when navigating back and forth between pages).

Were you able to resolve the described behavior on your end, at all? If not, I would suggest clearing your browser’s cache, and perhaps any cache plugins you may be using also.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Mark.
