[Plugin: TablePress] Sorting by column for values with leading $ sign

thanks for your question.

Sorting cells with currency values, like in your case, requires some additional JavaScript code for the DataTables JavaScript library (which is used for the actual sorting). You can see that code at https://datatables.net/plug-ins/sorting#currency

Unfortunately, integrating this into TablePress is not that trivial, as it requires a small Extension to load this code with DataTables. Now, I’m planning to create this Extension in the next days, so I ask you for a few days of patience, if you are interested in this.

Can you use this table sorting plugins to sort day of week? like Monday then Tuesday, then Wednesday, etc.?

thanks for your question. No, sorry, that date format is not supported by the Extension currently. That would require a custom sorting algorithm.
