WordPress Site showing in domain.com and domain.com/blog

  • Hello,

    I wanted to change where my site is viewed from domain.com to domain.com/blog. So I created my directory “blog” in var/www and moved all the wordpress files over. I copied my htaccess and index.php file over to the new directory. I can now access my wordpress site via domain.com/blog. However i can still view the site via domain.com, do I just need to remove the htaccess file from my web root (var/www)?

    I’m using a Linux server 12.04 LTS
