    Yep, it will stretch it out or you can control it manually. I recommend at least and image that is 1200px wide.

    Also, I am assuming I can use video will the plugin support MP4 or html 5 for Mobile play without flash?

    The plugin supports YouTube, Vimeo and other social media sites. If you are hosting the video yourself, you’ll need a player of some sort. The plugin supports shortcodes and there are many alternative players in the WordPress Repo that will work along with the plugin.
