Category & Custom Taxonomy based Breadcrumb

  • Hi,

    How can I display breadcrumb like this on Single post page?

    Home > Category_term > Custom_Taxonomy_Term >

    Category_term & Custom_Taxonomy_Term is the category & custom taxonomy term attached to the post. I’ve selected which custom taxonomy term to be selected in settings.

    Moreover, I don’t need to display Home before breadcrumb or the Page title at the end of the breadcrumb.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    If you can find a way to set “Custom_Taxonomy_Term” to be a child of “Category_term” then it may be possible. Generally, you should stick to one taxonomy type for your hierarchy in your breadcrumb trail.

    Leaving out the Home and the current item really defeats the purpose of a breadcrumb trail (you’re no longer talking about a breadcrumb trail at that point). Breadcrumb NavXT has a setting for removing the Mainsite/Home/Blog breadcrumb(s). The current item is not removable via an option, instead you currently have to use a filter to remove it.
