When I upload images they upload fine and I can see them in the admin gallery but they don’t display in the gallery on the web. They don’t display at all in Chrome or Safari but show up intermittently in Firefox.

The only thing I’ve changed lately is to move my site to a dedicated IP. After the plugin stopped working I upgraded both it & my theme but the problem didnt resolve itself.

I’ve checked with my hosting company who say it isn’t an issue on their end.

I know very little about coding so am completely stuck! My site is very reliant on the galleries (I have over 3000 images uploaded) so not being able to upload new images is a bit of a disaster. Can anyone help?

  • Do you just get the scroll wheel?
When I post my gallery and connect it to the menu item as a page, (Im using the slideshow) it just scrolls the loading wheel.
However when I click on the link as a direct url ( /?show=gallery ) it shows. I cant get it to show within the page as itself. :/

My images load on the back end. I can see them in the gallery in admin and I can see them on the site when I’m logged into WordPress but as soon as I log out or look at the site on a different device the images aren’t there. They’re not displaying on the front end. I’ve had two developer friends look at it and neither can see anything obviously wrong and the images are definitely on the server.

    Any help please?

After 3 days and a lot of googling we discovered the issue was a conflict with the WP Cache plug in.

Once that was deleted I could upload to the galleries again although for some reason it destroyed all the formatting in the galleries so we had to re-configure over 3000 thumbnails for it to look good again! So if you have that plug in installed perhaps consider deleting it?
