Need some help to create a video gallery

  • (I’m not sure where this post should go, so pardon if the section is inappropriate.)

    I’ve been twisting my mind over this for a long time now, always ending up dissatisfaction, limitations and recurring frustration.

    Simply put, I want to create a video gallery for my website which 1) displays videos from YouTube, and preferably also self-hosted content; 2) displays a set of video thumbnails in the same style as image galleries are presented; and 3) loads the videos into the WP jQuery Lightbox plugin, which I use for my image galleries (in which ever way this may be implemented into the plugin, because its interface and presentation is one of a kind and my only prefered choice).

    Availability. Coherency. Responsiveness.

    I’m not a coder…so I’m hoping that someone here may be able to assist me to manifest my vision, to complete my website.

    Thus far, I’ve been fortunate enough to find a simple solution to the gallery presentation itself, with help from the plugin WP Gallery Custom Links.

    Now I just need a lightbox that supports video content, whether someone may help me implement this feature into the WP jQuery Lightbox plugin, or introduce me to an alternative lightbox which is responsive and has the exact same appearance as WP jQuery Lightbox, either out of the box, by theme, or by simple CSS modifications.
