JetPack Version 2.1.1 Conflicts Main Page Slider Images and Portfolio Images

  • Hello I just upgraded to 2.1.1.
    But then my main page slider images and portfolio images disappeared.
    When page loads the images are shown for a second and then disappear.
    Just the loading image is rolling and rolling again.
    Unfortunately, I had to deactivate the plugin.
    Is there anyone who had same kind of problem and solved?
    If there is, I appreciate the help.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Do you use a specific plugin to add the slider to your site?

    Could you try to disable this plugin, or to switch to a different theme like Twenty Twelve, to check if the problem is caused by a conflict between Jetpack and a plugin or your theme?

    The slider is my theme’s default plugin.
    And also I have a portfolio page that comes with the theme.

    I was going to try your suggestion but now I am having completely different issue all of a sudden. :((

    When I try to enable jetpack now it says:

    “Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.Operation timed out after 15 seconds with 0 bytes received
    “

    When I fix that I will try your suggestion.

    It seems to be a problem with your server configuration, indeed.

    Could you get in touch with your hosting provider, and ask them if their PHP_FCGI_CHILDREN is set to one? If it is, could you ask them to set it to two or higher?
