How to get the_excerpt to display HTML

  • I notice that the function the_excerpt() only displays text and not HTML. Is there any way around this?

    My posts are all HTML and I’m having to replace the_excerpt() with the_content() on the Search page because of this isue.

    Any suggestions would be most welcome.
