FAQ showing up twice

Same things happen to me.

Has anyone fixed it?

I just added [faq] to a page, then somehow FAQ section shows twice.

Somehow it repeats itself just by adding shortcode.

My WP version is 3.5.1

I found out wp_reset_query() was causing it in all shortcode functions. Just deleted it and works perfectly. FYI

where do I delete it at?

wp-content/plugins/wordpress-faq-manager/faq-manager.php

A question, does anyone know how to avoid the future upgrades? In order that my client not upgrade the FAQ manager plugin and rewrite this edited php…

I’m having the same issue. I have deleted the wp_reset_query()code in the faq_manager.php file, but I still have multiple repeats of my FAQ https://primarycarespecialists.co/healthy-living-center-2/diabetes-health/. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I fixed it by trial and error by adding the following short code below the last FAQ on the page [/faq]

not sure why wp_reset_query is causing issues now (it’s been in the plugin since version 1.0) but I will investigate and if it’s an issue, I’ll fix it.

Not sure how this is marked as resolved. Just updated to WordPress 3.5.1 from 3.4.2. We’re using WPML 2.6.0. As soon as I updated wordpress core, my FAQ’s started appearing twice, in both languages.
I’ve got Version 1.326 of the FAQ plugin, but updating to 1.331 doesn’t help.
Commenting out wp_reset_query(); does resolve the issue.

This issue is not resolved. I am seeing duplicate FAQ’s on my site. I am using shortcodes with no limit on the number on the page, faq by type and javascript collapsing.

All I am doing is this:

[faq limit="-1"]

[faq faq_topic="faqs"]

And I get this:

Which is weird, but a problem. I know it is not related to anything in the Javascript I tested it with the collapse feature off and it did not resolve the problem.

Just got a reply from Andrew.

He said that because I was using separate shortcodes it was causing the duplicates.

The solution is to change the short codes to:

[faq limit="-1" faq_topic="faqs"]
