Your site looks pretty user-friendly to me. Good content is the best way to increase traffic. THat’s why people read your blog afterall.

Also, if I could change one thing I’d change the contact link in your menu to go to something like a contact form. I don’t like links that nastily surprise me by opening my mail client. My 2 cents.

carldesigns: If you go to yoour profile page, you’ll find the threads you have started at the bottom.
As for traffic be patient, it will take time if don’t find something truly revolutionary.

What you do, is to let your WordPress ping, as it does by default. Then, they say content is all.

You have to write something interesting!!

Then there is community building. Read other peoples blogs and comment on what they say.

It’s done in two ways:
o You read and comment on their blog.
o You read teir blog and comment on your own, and you include a link to the post you read ( which triggers a ping ).

Sooner or later you make friends and get discussion partners.
But be honest! Write good content on matters that interest you. Don’t write just to get traffic! If you do, youll only get one time visitors.

That’s about it, as I see it.
