Timezone different from main WP site

Hi there,
not a deal breaker but I have noticed that the time listed after you submit the message (from a submitters perspective) is not the same as the timezone for the main WordPress site. So for example the feedback to the user shows:
Date: Friday, January 11th, 2013 @ 10:13 am
Whereas the actual local time is 9:13pm.
