download limit error

  • This plugin is great, except that I can’t get the downloads to work (a pretty important part!). When I follow the link in the email, I get this error:

    “Sorry but you have hit your download limit for this file.”

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    p.s. I tried to register on the EDD forum but I kept getting “invalid username”, even though I tried about 10 different ones and some quite unusual… Any ideas?

    In the Download Configuration section, have you set the “Download Limit” field to anything other than 0?

    The “invalid username” happens because you are trying to register a username with capital letters, which is not supported by WordPress multisite.
