  • You can turn off commenting for all future Posts & Pages via Settings -> Discussion. To remove the comment form from existing Posts & Pages, edit each Post (or Page) and uncheck “Allow comments” in the Discussion pane. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

    I can verify what esmi said will work.

    Also, you can try No Page Comment, which will remove the hassle of remembering to turn off comments on new pages. It also has a feature where you can remove comments from all current pages with the click of a button.
