We suggest using this more advanced plugin that has a wizard:

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/embedplus-for-wordpress/

Install it and use the wizard to get shortcode. Paste this code in the article. After, you can center the shortcode text. The video will come out centered.

    hello,

the advanced plugin looks good but a “fatal error” is preventing me from installing it.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Add_new_tinymce_btn in /home/jorgecin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/embedplus-for-wordpress/embedplus.php on line 531

Hope you can help. Centering YouTube videos on WordPress has been the most frustrating part of this whole experience thus far! ??

    Hi,
The advanced plugin’s issue has been addressed. However, if you would still like to use this plugin, we’ve made it much easier to center. Just look at the admin menu and you’ll see an option for centering.

    Thanks!

I’m sorry to say that the advanced plugin is still not activating.

I deleted the plugin and re-installed it just now, and got the same error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Add_new_tinymce_btn in /home/jorgecin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/embedplus-for-wordpress/embedplus.php on line 531

What version of this YouTube plugin do you have installed? https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/youtube-embed-plus/

If you want to be able to center your videos with this plugin, or at least remove that fatal error, you have to upgrade this one first to version 2.0. (You’ll find the centering option in the admin with the other options).

If you still eventually want to use the advanced plugin, then you need to do one of the following first:

    Either:
    a) still upgrade this simpler plugin to 2.0, but then deactivate it
    Or,
    b) remove this simpler plugin entirely.

    Thanks.
