Jetpack – Authorization header was malformed

  • I posted a similar question at wp.com a couple of days ago, but no-one has responded and I am stuffed until it is resolved!

    I am currently on wp.com but moving to wp.org via GoDaddy. This week I set up my GoDaddy account and installed WP 3.5 via their 1-Click Install. My new site sits at https://headforpoints.com.previewdns.com (it is under previewdns as my wp.com site uses the main name and I want to develop a new theme before switching).

    When I try to connect Jetpack, I get the error: “auth_failed” and “The Jetpack server encountered the following client error: Authorization header was malformed.”. I thought it may fix itself given 72 hours from setup but it hasn’t. How can I get this to work?

    I have tried reinstalling Jetpack and WordPress with no joy. There are no other plug-ins etc operating as this is a fresh WP install. Thanks.
